Alliance Technologies Opens New Office in Cedar Rapids

DES MOINES, IA - Alliance Technologies, a leading provider of full-service information technology solutions, announced today that the I-380 corridor area (Iowa City/ Cedar Rapids and Waterloo/Cedar Falls) will now have access to an array of business technology solutions offered by Alliance Technologies and its affiliate, Iowa Network Services (INS).

The addition of Alliance Technologies' Cedar Rapids office will offer businesses in the I-380 corridor access to information technology services such as data center hosting, data backup and security, virtualization and high speed dedicated Internet connectivity with the reliability of a redundant network for uninterrupted service.

After the 2008 flooding disaster, the importance of disaster recovery for businesses became clear to I-380 businesses. Through their secure data center located in West Des Moines, backup and security services, and the self-healing nature of their redundant network, Alliance Technologies and INS can provide businesses with peace of mind that future natural disasters would have a minimal impact on technology operations.

As firms continue to look for ways to streamline and minimize costs without affecting the services they offer to their clients, virtual office capabilities have become more and more attractive.  Access to secure server hosting and secure high-speed remote network connections, enable businesses to become more efficient and flexible in an ever-changing and highly competitive business environment.

"Through the new I-380 office, Alliance Technologies is excited to more closely serve businesses in a larger portion of the state with the same technology solutions that we've provided for Central Iowa businesses for many years," said Mike Lang, CEO of Alliance Technologies. "Through our affiliation with Iowa Network Services, we are able to offer the most complete package of information technology and communications services to help businesses in the I-380 corridor succeed"
