Alliance Technologies Raises Over $28,000 for United Way
Des Moines Based Full Service IT Solutions Company Increases Their United Way Donation by 15.12% from Last Year
Des Moines, IA – (Sept. 15, 2009) – Alliance Technologies, a Des Moines-based full-service information technology solutions firm, announced today that they raised $28,641.24 for United Way of Central Iowa compared to last year’s $24,879.00; a 15.12% increase. Alliance Technologies has partnered with United Way of Central Iowa since 1994 with annual fundraising drives.
United Way chose Alliance Technologies to lead as a Pacesetter company this year, which appoints them as a leader from past fundraising campaigns. Alliance Technologies was one of the few companies asked to launch their campaign before other companies with hopes of exceeding their previous year’s numbers, setting the ‘pace’ for other companies.
“We very proud that we exceeded our 15% goal for this year’s United Way fundraiser,” said Mike Lang, President of Alliance Technologies. “We look forward to continuing to contribute to the efforts of United Way of Central Iowa, and to increasing our fundraising numbers again each year.”
