How long have you been in the IT business?

I graduated from University of Colorado with a degree in IT in the year 2000, so I’ve been in the IT business for nine years. My first job was at a manufacturing firm. We had a team of three – I was the systems administrator there and I had two people under me. I worked been working for Triple Point Solutions for about two years before they were purchased by Alliance Technologies.

Why do you like working with computers?

I find it’s easy for me. It’s different every day – it’s never the same. It can be challenging at times. I get to meet a lot of different people and make their day better. I enjoy that aspect of the work.

Do you have any specializations?

Small Business Server, Exchange: mainly Microsoft software solutions, with a bit of Cisco.

Tell me something interesting about you.

I have my pilot’s license. I like to travel on the weekends, get in a plane and go somewhere. I’m planning a trip to Maine. I don’t know where I’m going yet, but I’m just going to fly out there. I’ve heard it’s really beautiful this time of year.

Aside from computers, what technologies interest you the most?

Well, I’m a pilot, so I like avionics. Video games – I like consoles. I have an Xbox 360 and a Playstation 3. Call of Duty 4 is my favorite game. I prefer gaming on the console over the PC – on the console,
