New Year Planning Checklist

The new year is upon us and that means everything is coming due at once: new year budgeting, project planning, and hardware refreshes. Hardware Refreshes – Tapes and backup hard drives should be checked and refreshed if need be. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Tapes and hard drives wear out after continual use, so we recommend changing them out at least once a year to make sure your backup data is safe and there when you need it.

Technology Budgeting – It’s easy to forget technology when drafting a budget for the new year. Whether it’s for simple upkeep costs, warranty renewals, software licenses, tech support, or new hardware, make sure these things are worked into your budget so there are no surprises next year.
