As one of the requirements of attaining Microsoft Partner status, Alliance Technologies has to become certified in several Microsoft Competencies. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry. Competencies are also multi-leveled – the higher the level, the more qualified the company in that competency.

Gold Volume Licensing
The Volume Licensing competency demonstrates our ability to manage the complex licensing system for Microsoft software like Windows Server, SQL, SharePoint, Office, and Windows 7. Alliance Technologies has obtained the gold level competency in volume licensing due to our strong expertise and experience navigating the Microsoft licensing system.

Silver Midmarket Solution Provider
Alliance Technologies has earned the Microsoft Midmarket Solution Provider competency, which showcases our expertise in providing solutions based on the most current technology and IT-solutions knowledge to help midmarket businesses with their unique challenges.

Silver Server Platform
The Server Platform competency is for partners with proven expertise in designing and/or implementing complex server solutions such as Windows server-based infrastructure solutions, including Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows HPC Server, and Windows Server.
